Relax
Are you stressed when people tell you to ‘relax’? How can I possibly relax when I have to study/work/work two jobs/look after my family, my parents/make ends meet…?
How much of the stress we feel is self generated when we put pressure on ourselves to 'succeed' in life? What if success were just a point of view? And what if you could disappear stress associated with your point of view by using a few simple tools? Would your health and wellbeing improve? Science shows us that thoughts, feelings, emotions and other conscious and unconscious reactions in our lives can effect our physical body's health and well-being. Our Conscious Care non-invasive, gentle, hands-on and verbal techniques will help you expand your awareness of you and your body, and facilitate access to, and dissipate the energetic blockages in places where you have locked undesirable, uncomfortable, painful, or chronic conditions or dis-ease into your body. The aim of this therapy is to invite you to an overall more exuberant experience of life through greater consciousness. All Conscious Care therapy may be used in combination with other forms of therapy. Warning: this therapy may change your life. Learn more here or drop us a line. Move
Our bodies were designed and built to move and enjoy a range of
sensual activities.
They were not designed to simply sit on a couch (as much as our brains might want to tell them to do this). Your body will tell you very clearly that it is 'not happy Bob' when it does not move. Your weight increases, your muscles weaken, your blood slows, your brain is deprived of much needed oxygen, and you are at heightened risk of a range of serious health problems: heart disease, hypertension, obesity, diabetes, osteoporosis, depression and anxiety. On the other hand, we know well that our bodies will reward us when they move a lot by releasing endorphins. These opiate like hormones give us a sense of well-being and provide natural pain relief. For free! One challenge can be, the less you move, the harder you body finds moving and the less fun it will become. Fortunately, the opposite is also true. The more you move, the easier and more enjoyable it becomes. So what does your body desire? Not every body likes a treadmill. Have you asked your body lately? Move it and see. Need help tuning into what your body enjoys? Drop us a line. Read more in our health tips Laugh

Question: What's the definition of a healthy person? Answer: Someone who hasn't had enough tests done yet. Or this one. Question: What's the definition of psychiatry?
